How to Apply

Thanks for showing interest to volunteer in India. Applying to a Volunteering in India through the iVolunteer program is fairly simple.

The following steps will guide you through the application process:

Step 1

Use our Browse Opportunities feature to find an opportunity that appeals to you and fill out the short form telling us you are interested.

If you don’t find an opportunity that interests you, use the Request More Information form to describe the type of opportunity you desire.

Step 2

Wait for us to contact you to inform you of the availability of your selected opportunity and to provide you with further information.

Step 3

Fill out the application form once you have decided whether or not you want to volunteer with us.

Based on this form and the information you provide, we will create a customized volutneer experience for you.

Step 4

Provide an advance payment of $100 USD with the application form.

We will start developing volunteering opportunities only when we have received your fee. We charge an upfront fee to encourage only serious applicants to apply and so as not to raise the expectations of our partner organizations. $100 USD is a non-refundable fee but is adjustable against the program fee.

Step 5

Choose the placement that you like and start preparing to go to India.

Please note that if you are below 18 years old you will need to get a signed consent form from your parents before you can volunteer with us.
